Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before booking a quiz or trivia event with Smarty Rounds.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website and booking our trivia and pub quiz events, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all venue partners, private individuals, and corporate clients engaging the event services of Smarty Rounds.

2. Event Bookings and Formats

Smarty Rounds provides professional quiz hosts, customized trivia content, and required audio-visual equipment (where agreed upon during booking). All event bookings must be confirmed in writing. We reserve the right to alter the quiz format or substitute hosts in the event of unforeseen circumstances, ensuring the replacement meets our strict entertainment standards.

3. Payment and Cancellations

A deposit may be required to secure your preferred date for private parties and corporate team-building events. Venue partners hosting regular weekly or monthly quizzes are invoiced according to their specific ongoing agreement.

  • Cancellations made more than 14 days before the scheduled event will receive a full refund of any deposit paid.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the event may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover preparation time and secured dates.
  • If Smarty Rounds must cancel an event due to an unavoidable emergency, we will provide a full refund or reschedule the quiz event at your convenience.

4. Venue Requirements and Liability

For events held at external locations or partner venues, the client or venue partner is responsible for providing a safe environment for our hosts and suitable space for the trivia activities. Smarty Rounds is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property that occurs during an event, except where such liability cannot be legally excluded.

5. Intellectual Property

All quiz questions, picture rounds, audio clips, answer sheets, and proprietary presentation formats provided by Smarty Rounds remain our exclusive intellectual property. Clients and participants may not record, reproduce, sell, or distribute the quiz materials without prior written consent.
